KDM1 training is not mandatory but STRONGLY recommended for all kayakers!

Take your training with our certified guide and instructor, Samuel Rivard.

With passion and a constant desire to deepen his knowledge, Samuel will guide you on the water, helping you push your limits and expand your sea kayaking skills.

Holding a DEC in adventure tourism, he initially honed his experience by guiding in the Saguenay Fjord for two consecutive years. Through this experience in a marine environment, he obtained his Level 3 certification from the Federation of Canoe/Kayak Quebec in 2013 during a 7-day expedition off the coast of Nova Scotia.

In 2014, he built a kayak entirely from cedar strips, which allowed him to truly appreciate the richness of this craft. These experiences gradually led him to discover his passion for teaching. For him, witnessing the pride in participants' eyes after a day of surpassing themselves is what brings him the most happiness.
